Ingredients
- 1 sheet of Dumas frozen puff pastry
- 2 beefsteak tomatoes (or other variety)
- 1 container cherry tomatoes
- 1 ball fresh mozzarella
- 1 stalk fresh basil
- 1 bunch chives
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Defrost a sheet of Dumas puff pastry.
- Cut dough into desired shape; use extra for crust.
- Place dough on baking sheet.
- Slice tomatoes and season.
- Finely chop basil and chives.
- Halve cherry tomatoes, mix with herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Cut mozzarella into ~10 pieces.
- Spread sliced tomatoes on dough, add cherry tomatoes, then mozzarella.
- Brush tart edges with egg yolk.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until dough is golden and cooked.
- Cool 2-3 minutes and serve.
