Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of frozen puffed pastry
  • 1 jar of tomato-basil sauce
  • 8 slices of mortadella
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • Pitted and sliced black olives
  • Half a bell pepper, chopped
  • 8 small tomatoes, sliced

Preparation

  1. Let the puffed pastry thaw and unfold the sheet on a floured surface.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  3. With a sharp knife, cut the pastry sheet into 4 squares.
  4. Cut horizontal strips from the edge of each pastry square to its centre.
  5. Place the pizzas on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  6. Top pizzas to taste (recommended: tomato sauce, one slice of mortadella, pieces of pepper and tomato, grated cheese).
  7. Let children choose their toppings.
  8. Fold the pastry strips over the pizzas, crossing them to create mummy bandages appearance.
  9. Place two black olive slices on each pizza for eyes.
  10. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until crust is golden.
  11. Drip tomato sauce on top to look like blood.
