Ingredients

  • 12 pieces of cookie dough
  • 4 Chef Dumas croissants
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of pistachios
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of icing sugar

Preparation

  1. About 30 minutes before baking, let the cookie dough pieces rest at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  3. Slice the croissants in half horizontally, without cutting all the way through.
  4. Fill the inside of the croissants with two-thirds of the cookie dough pieces. Lightly press down the dough.
  5. Top the croissants with the remaining cookie dough pieces and press lightly. Sprinkle with pistachios.
  6. Place the crookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with icing sugar.
